LTP Administration Support Page (2017-18)

                                            

These affiliation instructions and forms included provide a step-by-step process to affiliate an LTP program(s).  It is imperative that each LTP session is covered by our liability insurance policy.  The steps outlined below must be followed to insure liability coverage, which protects the youth participants, generous adult volunteers and religious, as well as property.

 

LTP REQUIREMENTS

 

  1. Each LTP program must affiliate PER SESSION – both fall 2017 and spring 2018 separately.  Registration must be completed online at https://www.missionnetwork.com/events/LTP-Registration.  Also, there must be ample time for all volunteers to register prior to the start date. (Recommended at least six weeks in advance – minimum one month)
  2. LTP will operate under the legal auspices of RC Activities, Inc.  All legal documentation will reflect this as the corporation.  (example: Permission forms, insurance requests, etc.)  The latest versions of these can all be found online at the following website:

  1. LTP Program Members / Executive (TL) Members
    1. Each member must complete and turn in Permission to Participate form to the Program Director prior to the start date.
    2. The Program Director will simply compile a census of members in the provided Microsoft Excel format HERE.
  2. LTP Volunteers
    1. Each LTP adult volunteer must:
      1. Register online as a volunteer at https://rcactivities.com/volunteers
      2. The 2017-18 volunteer processing fee is $20.00 per adult volunteer
      3. Complete, sign and return to the National Office an “Authorization and Disclosure for Background Check” form
      4. Fulfill all local diocesan requirements.

The volunteer will receive a Volunteer Certificate (valid for 3 years) once the process above is complete.  They must present this to the Program Director before being able to actively volunteer for the LTP Program.

  1. Economy
    1. Each LTP Program Director will establish the cost per member (per session) and collect the fees locally. CHECKS MUST BE MADE PAYABLE to RC Activities, Inc. in order for the insurance to be applicable. If you do not have an RC Activities bank account, please contact Anna Kulway at [email protected].
      1. The 2017-18 insurance fees are $10.00 per member (per session).  This covers the RC Activities affiliation insurance fee enabling liability coverage for property, members, and volunteers. 
      2. Simply upload the excel Census document with the total for number of participants for the session.  You will then receive an invoice for $10.00 per member.  (youth only).  All adult volunteers receive automatic coverage with a valid RC Activities, Inc. Volunteer Certificate.
